Job Focus

Provides technical assistance, support, and monitoring for Active Living By Design grantees. Identifies resources and materials related to the specific aspects/populations: older adults, youth, and people with disabilities. Serves as lead point of contact for Active Living By Design for evaluation, physical activity and related public health issues.

Why am I working at Active Living By Design?

I believe that the active living approach to impact whole communities has the potential to improve our lives beyond the physical health benefits of regular physical activity. Active communities also promote quality of life, contact with neighbors, and less dependence on automobiles. I am optimistic that we can return to a time when activity is a routine part of our lives. I look forward to the day we will feel comfortable letting our kids play outside and ride their bikes to school.
