This project is funded under the Foundation's program, Healthy Kids, Healthy Communities, which was designed to implement systems, policies and environmental strategies with potential to prevent childhood obesity in populations at greatest risk. The purpose of the project is to train "political promotores" from each county to begin prioritizing, advocating and implementing policy and environmental change priorities identified in community plans developed as part of the HEAC grant. Deliverables include creating training modules, identifying a cadre of trainees to participate in a training process and advocacy work.
