Hennepin is working to change internal departmental policies and practices to support active living, including looking at building siting and development policies, transportation policies (Complete Streets) and support for county employees to actively commute to work. In addition, they are working with several constituent cities to develop interdisciplinary partnerships and pass their own active living resolutions.
