2008 ALbD Annual Meeting
Active Living by Design (ALbD) held it final annual grantee meeting for the Active Living by Design grant program in Portland, Oregon from August 5th through 8th, 2008. This meeting provided a time for grantees, ALbD and RWJF staff and other invited guests to convene for a few days of learning, sharing and reflecting. The agenda includes many opportunities to highlight Portland’s incredible environment for active living and healthy eating. There were many speakers who will challenged us to think about active living and healthy eating in a larger context, such as climate change, community building and sustainability. There was plenty of time to celebrate grantee accomplishments over the past 4½ years, as well as the legacies each partnership is building and sustaining across the United States.
