The Active Living By Design Web site, www.activelivingbydesign.org, provides resources to help communities and organizations increase physical activity and healthy eating through community design. The site is owned and operated by the Active Living By Design (ALBD), a North Carolina-based nonprofit. Active Living By Design was established by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and is administered by the North Carolina Institute of Public Health at the University of North Carolina Gillings School of Global Public Health at the University of North Carolina University at Chapel Hill.
